The Duracell myGrid charging pad works as described. If you often forget to do the wired hookup to recharge your battery, this charging pad for cell phones might make it more convenient for you. While it requires a wired connection, the wireless feature means that you can simply take the phone out of your pocket or purse and drop it on the charging pad. That's it. It seems to charge just as fast as a regular wired charger. The case is made out of rubber, and it doesn't add that much additional weight to the iPhone. The setup couldn't be easier. You simply place the skin over the phone, plug the charger into the wall, and lay the phone on the charger. It immediately connected and started charging. The phone charged quickly and fully with no problems at all. I have no complaints at all with the functionality of the charger.

First off, I want to add that this charger is definitely helping me keep my iPhone charged. Every since I started using it, my phone has not gotten below 30% because it's so easy to just drop the phone onto the pad for charging.

I do have a small gripe, but for most people this wont matter much. It advertises that you can charge up to 4 phones at once. That would only work if you had 4 tiny cell phones. The Durecell myGrid Charging Pad will only hold 2 Iphones. I assume that most other smart phones are about the same size and would have the same results. This truly is a minor gripe and should not stop anyone from getting this charging pad for cell phones.

Otherwise, everything else, including the case, is something I'm comfortable with because it helps me keep the phone charged.

Duracell has always provided quality products. They have a strong brand name and have a reputation to live up to. The copper top does it again with the myGrid Charging Pad. They provide the same quality in this charging pad that they do in their batteries. I promise that if you have the myGrid you will be much more prone to keeping your phone charged.

Now, Imagine the possibilities as this product matures. In the valet where you throw everything when you arrive home. In the console of the car. Across the back of your work desk with the little dongle devices are simply dropped onto the strip for charging. How many plug packs and powerstrips do you have for your laptop, scanner, USB drives etc.,? I can't wait for the high power version of this, and, it is electrically safe to use.
